What do I need to prepare?

Hong Kong SAR, China

Name Check

To provide 3 preferred company names (in English and Chinese (if any) for checking

Preparation of Registration Form and Documents

  1. To confirm whether you have a physical registered address.
  2. To confirm nature of business.
  3. To confirm registered capital (HK$10,000) – does not need to be paid up.
  4. To confirm number of shareholders, and shareholding %.
  5. For shareholders –
    • If the company is held by natural person, the passport/ID
    • If the company is held by an entity, the Incorporation Certificate, Business Registration, Register of Directors and Register of Shareholders.
    • If the company is held by an entity, to confirm the ultimate beneficial owner and passport/ID.
  6. To confirm number of directors, and names.
  7. For all directors – passport/ID
  8. Address proof of each director and shareholder (valid within 3 months).
  9. To confirm source of funding of the business.

Mainland China

  1. To confirm whether you have a physical registered office address.
  2. To confirm business scope.
  3. To confirm number of shareholders, and shareholding %.

    2. If the company is held by an entity, the Incorporation Certificate, Business Registration, Register of Directors and Register of Shareholders, Board of Directors resolution, notary versions of the above documents and translated documents.
